A day began with an orangish gleam of light. Birds were singing their morning song, the breeze was warm like never before, and people were rising from the silence of the night. But there was one person—forgetful, careless, indifferent, and preoccupied with his own imagination rather than the reality of the morning. His name was Naieve. It was well known that he did not have the slightest clue about what was happening in the world. He was lost in himself and did not bother about anything.

One day, everything changed. And how did this happen? To understand that, you must first grasp the principle: "Nothing is permanent in this world except change."
Naieve was deeply absorbed in a troubling thought—was he lost? Somewhere in his life, he must have witnessed something that had shaped him into who he was now. And this feeling was slowly consuming him. He became eager to uncover the reason behind his state of total ignorance. Determined, he decided to look back at his past, wondering if he might find a clue.
Naieve began reminiscing about his childhood—how he used to be as a child. He recalled the bitterness of his loneliness, the few joyous moments with his mother, and the times he played in the park with other children from the neighborhood. Then, suddenly, he remembered the strangest thing he had ever witnessed as a child. He had once seen a wounded kitten lying beside a tree, crying for help, searching for its mother.
He had rushed back from the playground to his mother, pleading with her to come with him to rescue the poor creature. But his mother had simply dismissed him, saying, "Hush, I have better things to do than looking after some animal." From that moment on, he was never the same. Though he was too young to fully comprehend it at the time, he realized one thing—everyone lives for themselves.
Naieve had always been reluctant to revisit this memory, as it had profoundly shaped his current personality. At that moment, he understood that certain rare incidents could leave an everlasting impact on a person’s life. He wished that if only his mother had rescued that poor creature, things might have been different. He wouldn’t have carried this guilt in his heart and might have learned a different lesson instead.
By then, Naieve had made up his mind—he would make amends in his life. He had read somewhere that "Nothing remains constant in this world except change," and he was finally ready to embrace that truth.
Very EXCITING story about reinventing yourself.
